B.Eng. Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering Full-time

Year: 3
2025/26 Session

Students must pass all modules. If a student fails to meet these conditions they cannot be awarded an accredited degree at the end of their programme, under the Engineering Council’s policy on Compensation and Condonement. They will therefore need to be transferred to an unaccredited programme.

Programme specific regulation: Due to the requirements of IET accreditation for BEng programmes, students who fail any core modules at stage 3 will normally be transferred to an unaccredited BSc Mechatronics and Robotics. In this instance , "core modules" refers to modules whose learning outcomes are included in UK SPEC.

Decisions as to whether a student has met the requirements of the IET accredited programme will be made on a case by case basis.
